Free Technology for Teachers: Why Book Trailers Are Great Alternatives to Traditional Book Reports
Aren't you tired of grading boring book reports?
Book trailers can be replaced by original book reports. I already know how to do book reports. I am interested in learning how to jazz them up for my students in the technology world. I am curious how this can be made simple for my students? Are the apps easy to use or will it be a gradual process modeled by me?
I agree this is a great idea for replacing book reports. This really connects with QR codes that are already so popular. I support the idea and using technology when appropriate!
I agree that book trailers are a great alternative to book reports. Children are allowed to use apps to create something on their own. They are allows to explain their technology creativity. I have used QR codes in the past and Aurasma. The apps we have ready in the App store can help us teach the iGeneration. Children will have fun learning news ways to process their book reports through these fun apps as well as book trailer apps.
Now, whose ready to take over the book report world..one book trailer at a time?
